Apparently the Home Office is planning on introudcing a new "super-Asbo" which is going to be used to fight serious organisedd crime. They're going to be called Serious Crime Prevention Orders (SCPO) and will apparently be used like ASBO's to ban known serious crime bosses from certain activities, for example, carryng too much money, using a telephone etc.
According to John Reid they will be used to tackle crimes like drug trafficking, organised immigration crime, credit card and identity fraud and money laundering. Whatever happened to just catching people and putting them in prison?

Doesn't this government ever learn. It's already lost a case of "Human Rights" with control orders, and now they want to bring in this!
Do they really think the electorate have forgotten that they tried to recover the assets of these criminals, and have so far failed miserably, and spent millions in the process.
I can't for Cherie to take this on saying that her hubby's government are restricting the human rights of these crims by limitting what they are allowed to do.
Words fail me.
surely you is takin the piss am i losing the plot is it the heat ?? no its yet another labour headline to nowhere can we have our country back cos u are fucking it right up.
There was a note of sarcasm in that post.
But on a serious note, the government screws itself over and over again with these "orders".
It will try and implement this, spending a large amount of our taxes on it in the process. They will then have them overturned at the high court, because of "Human Rights legislation". Which the Government introduced, and the PMs wife gets herself involved with.
Right back to my sun-bed.
