I have no idea if this will actually attract much interest, but I know that Iain Dale (like me), enjoys playing golf, so I'm presuming there are other players out there. The idea is simple, a Bloggers Golf Tournament. A one day deal (probably a weekend), probably doing 27 holes, 9 in the morning as a Texas Scramble and then 18 Stableford if we have enough numbers. Obviously it would be in the South East I'm afraid.

do we have a northern problem in Conservative bloggers as well?
Iain Dale has a post on blog golf tournament suggesting a date in October. Make it early October. I am not sure whether you will be able to find a course which accepts visitors on weekend so maybe you need to look at a Friday. Need to agree a date and venue and then find the numbers. Even 2x4 balls would make an interesting day out.
tapestry, Dizzy and I happen to live in the South East. Should you wish to invite us north I am sure we'd happily bring our clubs.
tapestry has emailed me and if we are not too far south for him he may be able to come along.
I'll join the Mouse from Amsterdam on the crazy golf course too, I'm afraid golf is not one of my strengths, but I can see it's attraction, it's a great outdoor sport which you can play virtually all year round.
