Firstly, my thanks go to Iain for hightlighting this. I'm not going to go into lengthy detail though. All I'm going to say is this.
Alastair Campbell et al, you can take a code of conduct and stick it somewhere that may cause you to wince. Self-proclaimed Luddites like you will never control the baud or the bit. We are here to stay, get used to it.

Have you read the BBC story?
There is nothing there about A. Campbell requesting a code of conduct.
The PCC director Tim Toulmin has requested one.
Cambell chaired the session and his comments make it pretty clear he is in agreement with Tim Toulmin. Tim Toulmin can get stuffed too.

Campbell, Toulmin, et al, are the ones to be supervised to keep to a code of conduct...
According to the BBC, Campbell said, "some of the most offensive content comes from them [the blogs]." Presumably he has forgotten about the time 10 Downing Street, under his direction, denigrated the recently departed David Kelly?
