Blair loses it in Young Labour speech?

Is anyone watching the speech by Blair which I think is being given to Young Labour in Glasgow? He's rambling all over the place, leaping from education, to health, to terrorism, to ASBOs, to Africa, to China, to globalisation, to the Third Way , back to education, all within the space of about 40 seconds. He's blatently gone off script.

He's totally lost it I swear, and what's more he seems to be re-writing his own political history. Most amusing quote was that he thinks that "instead of the state trying to control, the roll of the state has been to empower". He said that without laughing. He also ressurected the concept of "stakeholder" and said that the Labour Party should be a "stakeholder party".

I wonder if he had a drink at lunchtime?

The state has clearly empowered the individual by freeing up the time that individuals used to have to waste making decisions for themselves.

This is part of his legacy, don't you know. Complete dysfunction of all working parts of Government - and lack of connection of one part to another, in this case, mouth and brain. What an extraordinary performance!

Even more extraodinary is that he is still Prime Minister in a supposedly democratic country. The first party to say they will put Blair on trial will get a lot of votes.

I believe, Broga, that in the UK it isn't political parties that are supposed to be planning on putting people on trial, but rather, the CPS.

As soon as he sets foot somewhere like Venezuala, though, I am sure that he is legal toast.
