Every now and again something happens on the incredible-edible Internet which just make me thinks "that's really cool" and this morning is one of those times. Last week, the computer scientist Jim Gray went missing at sea. On Thursday the US Coastguard called off its search for him having found no trace of his boat. That search has now moved on to the Internet.
An arm of the online retailer, Amazon called Mechanical Turk became involved and arranged for a satellite sweep of the area. These images have been broken down and placed online and they are asking web users to examine a sample of five images and mark any that look like they should be investigated further.
Help find Jim Gray here.

Yep, us over at OrionRobots have been on this all morning and last night. To motivate those who have not had a go, it is actually pretty simple, and we have clocked around 200 images already.
