He does move them about an awful lot doesn't he? But I never noticed how syncronised it was. I bet a body language expert could explain that one.

And I am sure they will say he is a Stalinist, control freak with a narrow vision on the world, oh and a small todger as well.
"Individual Differences in Hand Movements During Deception"

May have some bearing on the matter...
Its to cover up his OCD. Watch his hands during PMQs when he's on the back foot. They flail around like a broken robot. Most disturbing. When he was chancellor he would do 'shylock' style hand rubbing during the budget.
Olmert looks as if finding a cure for cancer might not be such a good idea after all. Probably had to confiscate his belt and shoelaces having to stand and listen to that rubbish
Shifty, shifty, shifty.
Can't keep still classically equals how can I distract the audience without giving away that I know I am lying?
Poor old Gordo.
Still, he won't be moving his hands around too much once they slap the straight jacket on.
Most pickpockets have fast hands.
It's all in the fingers you see.
'Got to keep my hands away from my nose, there's a biggie up there but I've been caught out before'
Some sort of weird filter has developed in my brain which means that I can't actually make out the words that Brown is saying. Is this a common problem?
