HMRC advertises for security experts

Interesting job advert for "IT Security Risk Consultants", working in a Government department, mostly in Essex at the location of HMRC offices.

So much for security procedures being in place and just not being followed. If they're having to adevrtise for expertise it sounds more like they know they're procedures are totally knackered or more likely they don't know their arses from their elbows.

Very small market !!! (There is hardly anyone with good security experience working for government)

Having known a few programmers at some of those locations, all of them left due to the complete shambles of the IT systems. Apparantly nobody knew what they were to do and so they just sat on their hands all day...
