Tory Party launches TV Channel Online

The Conservative Party is launching a branded online TV channel via Friction TV.
Unlike WebCameron, using Friction TV means that users can post up their own video responses, and because it's a third party site it means content is controlled under the providers terms. Apparently there will be two videos each week posted on the channel. - I'm not 100% sure how this differs from YouTube's model other than maybe the distinct branding partnerships.

I imagine for many this will mark another step into using the Internet for politics, however, I personally think that being online is not where the trick is being missed. What needs to happen really is more effective use of private internetworks to mobilse and organise.
