Tragedy!

What is it about revelations of Gordon Brown's apparent musical tastes that tickle me so much? Apparently, Robin Gibb has said that Brown is a big Bee Gees fan. How helpful of Gibb to let us know that Brown enjoys listening to "Tragedy" and "Staying Alive", they must keep him going. Add to that some appalingly depressing Coldplay and it might explain why everything he touches goes bad.

I bet he isn't too keen on The First of May any more (not 2008 anyway).

But guess well cry come first of may.

it's bloody scary to think that someone who likes the Bee Gees is in charge of the country. Shallow monotonous repetitive words....... oh I see now.

"Life goin' nowhere. Somebody help me.
Somebody help me, yeah.
Life goin' nowhere. Somebody help me.
Somebody help me yeah. Stayin' alive."

As lyrics go that seems quite apt, doesn't it?
