Grumpy Gordon

Let the video download and then fast forward to the end to watch Gordon Brown angrily slam himself down on the bench and look immensely miserable at the kicking he got from Cameron.

Just look that face for a still that doesn't really do justice to the stroppy fit he was clearly about to have.

I sincerely fear for his mobile phone, the desks and the poor woman that makes him tea. Mind the flying cup!

I think Gordon Brown is a useless PM and his government is pretty useless too. However, David Cameron was less than dignified today when he made a somewhat 'personal' attack on Brown by calling him plain old 'useless'.

It came across as DC calling Gordon Brown a useless human being (which he may or may not be) BUT DC's attack appeared too personal which made him look like a schoolboy bully. Really, DC must behave more like a dignified statesman for people to take him seriously.

I ALMOST felt sorry for Brown - almost - but not quite.

Borderline tactics by Cameron.

Dave should study the methods used by the Shamrocks, Marco Ruas et al. Maybe Hague could give him some lessons on applying an arm bar.

@canvas: I think one of the failings of previous Tory leaders over this past decade) is that they've been too much like "dignified statemen" and not fired people up. Cameron has got it right.

What a load of twaddle canvas, stating the bleeding obvious is hardly bullying and if ever a person was worthy of such abuse then GB is that person,I say tell it like it is.His perfomance today was risible,he is an embarassment he's like a living slow motion car crash the only problem being that the victims are the rest of us poor bastards.

Was Gordon reading Cameron's lines at the end?

What's with all the purple on the Government benches? Or is this a regular thing I miss?

I've seen doughnutting with women in white suits, but not streaks of purple running along the benches before...

Brown is juvenile. He's never grown up. Everything about him is a sham and deceit. His pouting is pathetic and childish. Cameron is right. Brown is useless. And Cameron was right to say so. After all someone has to. If his own party won't - and many of them now know he is useless - then Cameron will do it for them.

to ian_qt; I understand the point you're making - but - if you're a TORY you're not allowed to be a total dick anymore. That's the problem DC faces... He has to APPEAL to the masses. DIPLOMACY COUNTS.
