Another Gordon Brown lie

Fraser Nelson and others at the Spectator Coffee House have been running its "Brownies" feature for some time now. Basically when Brown tells a whopping great lie and pretends to be telling the truth.

I've just been watching his party conference Q & A and he's been at again. He's just told the Labour Conference that the Conservative Party supports deserting the North based upon the Policy Exchange Think Tank report. Funny, if I recall correctly it was rejected as an "insane" idea.

In other news, Brown also seemingly told his conference that he was going to do0 something about big city bonuses.

We have all learnt that with Brown you have to read the detail. For example today's announcement that all 2 year old's are to get choild care. Yes but where are the staff going to come from?

I have been pondering whether the credit crisis will save Brown. I came to the conclusion that it will mean he has a good week in Manchester. Then I read D'Ancona in the ST who suggests that Labour's civil war will re start thereafter. It seems that Miliband and Johnson have done a deal.

The man wouldn't know the truth if it slapped him in the face.

DC should pick him up on these at every PMQs but doesn't and I don't understand why??
