Funny, because just a few minutes ago the BBC headline was that Downing Street had issued a press release denying that they knew that he might be resigning. Why would they do a press release announcing that?
Do you really think that the resignations will continue higher up the chain? My feeling is that nobody else really wants to lead the Labour Party, they'd rather leave Brown where he is to carry the can and start afresh from the Opposition benches.
