Well according to the Grauniad, in a beautifully snidey sign-off, he's staying in a £4,200 a night hotel suite. Hope we're not picking up the tab!!!

Workers fear more job losses at JCB

JCB workers were again fearing for their jobs today as management and union bosses held crisis talks on their future.
One anonymous employee is unhappy with the options he has been given and the way JCB has gone about making cuts.
He said: "Last week a deal to sell 350 diggers to a Russian company fell through so the units were sent back.
"So now we have all these diggers we need to sell and they represent three months' work which is already done.
"Now bosses are saying they have to act quickly and sort out the money they stand to lose from the deal.
"What they've said is we can work 31 hours a week or continue with 39 and incur 400 redundancies.
"But the managers are all on a salary so they will presumably get paid the same but only work four days.
"It's a shambles how they're going about it. The bosses don't talk to us and we feel like it's us against them at the minute."
JCB's representative for the GMB union, Gordon Richardson, said: "What we're here to do is protect these workers' jobs and, if that means cutting their hours, there might be some mileage in that."
The redundancies and talks come despite the announcement of record profits in 2007 and improved sales in Brazil and Russia.
