4 hours and 35 minutes to save the world!

Sam Coates over at Red Box has rather interesting post about the schedule for the G20 where Gordon Brown will save the world. Apparently its going to last 4 hours and 35 minutes.

  • Leaders' breakfast 8.30am - 9.45am
  • Morning session including finance ministers and central bankers 9.50am- 1.25pm
  • Lunch 1.25pm - 2.30pm
  • Afternoon session including finance ministers and central bankers 2.30pm to 3.30pm
  • Closing press conferences, 3.30 onwards
Not bad for £20 million and crappy website with a giant tit logo huh?

Those with recollection of dodgy 80s Sci-Fi and Queen songs will remember this line from 'Flash Gordon':

"Flash, Flash, I love you, but we only have fourteen hours to save the Earth!"

And to think that Drab Gordon will do it in a fraction of the time. Apparently.

Actually, if this bunch of free loaders would just get out of the way, the market would sort it out pdq - it would have to.....

And how much of the 4:35 will be spent on introductions, formal opening statements and sucking up to the Obamemessiah?
