According to the Home Office there has been a rise in "theft from the person" but its the Notes to Editors that amused me most.
Theft from the person mainly comprises stealth theft (involving no force and where the victim was unaware of what was happening at the time).Presumably this is a euphemism that they've put out an All Person Broadcast and warrant for the arrest of Lithium Brown?
