I want to be an MP get me in there?

I may well have just written a blogpost that defended some MPs are talked of collateral damage in the expenses scandal, but that doesn't preclude me making smartarse remarks about it still.

I've just read on the CoffeeHouse that Esther Rantzen is considering becoming an MP. I was, at this point, reminded of the natural law that states whenever a celebrity goes on a celebrity reality show it means they're skint.

Thus, do we have a new law? If you're a celebrity and you're skint then become an MP!

Brace yourselves for Timmy Mallett and David Van Day as MPs. Mind you, John Lydon would liven things up a bit.

Dizzy off topic I know, but as a geek!
Have you heard about the China's new operating system Kylin?
China's government is preparing to wage cyberwarfare with the United States, very interesting!

PRC's Kylin secure OS: Part of cyber-war or cyber-security?

Not so much "I'm a celebrity.." more "Who wants to be a Millionaire?"

Why is it only confined to celebrities?

There are two million plus unemployed. Let's have a Lloyd George solution - 600 chosen accidentally (or at least by lottery) from among them to ride the gravy train for five years, on condition that they never subsequently claim state aid! I'd be willing to make the tremendous sacrifice to serve my country (oh, all right, to get rich).

Probably cheaper than administering benefits as well.

Esther Ranson will be sadly disappointed after her life of freeloading at the BBC. MPs will have to produce receipts for everything by the time she gets to Westminster

Hey Dizz, somebody HERE doesn't seem to share your ambitions for Nadine's knickers.
