Tory Expenses Countdown: Who will it be?

In a few hours the Telegraph is going to turn its sights fully on the Tories in the fourth day of Expenses/Receipts scandal. The question is, who will it be?

Rumour is that there will be some surprises, which to me suggests that whoever finds themselves under the spotlight might be someone that has made significant noise on the issue of expenses fiddles etc, i.e. the "hypocrite" charge.

The other issue is that if senior Tories who are also seriously minted are in the list it will not go down well. Like Barbera Follett, if you're loaded already, taking the piss on the taxpayers money will not go down at all well.

What I'm starting to wonder is how long the Telegraph can make this one run for. Obviously we still have the Lib Dems to come - assuming of course some of them have "been at it" - but once they're done I would be very surprised if the public will take anymore detail.

By that time the meme of "they're all bloody at it" will be well embedded and any new scandals won't really make much difference to the general attitude that all politicians are venal swindlers of the highest order.
